Wakayama :
On July 7, 2004, the three sacred shrine sites, Nachisan Seiganto-ji Temple, and the arterial pilgrimage routes, were designated as a World Heritage Site as the “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.
Shiga :
Shiga is located almost in the center of Japan.This makes the prefecture easily accessible: just an hour and a half by train from both Kansai International Airport and Chubu Centrair International Airport, and just 10 minutes from Kyoto.
Mie :
Located in central Japan, Mie has abundant natural scenery, from colorful fall foliage to a beautiful, deeply indented coastline and mountains where you can enjoy mountain climbing and skiing. Mie also features some of Japan’s best amusement attractions.
